It occurs to me, having read this the other day, that the very act of Alan trying to kill himself is also what caused him to survive the photocopier incident. That’s probably obvious though. Overdosing on vitamins is like overexposure to radiation: It’ll either kill you, or turn you into some sort of super-being!! HOOHAH!
